With the seasons heading toward spring, March is a good time to plan some fresh goals and renew some older ones.  Continuing on from my Schemes, Dreams and Plans ~ January post there are some new goals set.  I am looking to grow my photography and blog content repertoire in the kitchen and closet areas. Practicing food and drink photography, as well as organizing my collection of favourite recipes, is on the to do list. Also after much thought, I have found some inspiration for fashion and style related photography on ANNEinFASHION.com. Exciting things to come!

The photographs above were taken a while back, and now fit perfectly with the kitchen and closet focus of the schemes, dreams and plans for spring. The images feature gifts from two separate occasions. The black Chanel embossed patent leather wallet was received many years ago and it is still something that is greatly treasured. It is often saved for a special evening out and worn as a clutch. I believe its first night worn, was to a Joe Fresh Toronto Fashion Week runway show and after party.   The macarons were brought back fresh from Paris with a colour selection perfect for photographing. Maybe it is easy to know me well! It is a lovely feeling to know someone is thinking of you while globe-trotting. Both of these gifts were extra extravagant to receive, and these photos capture my appreciation for them.
