With the month of love just around the corner, ‘tis the time to be thinking pink!  Adding a few soft rose-coloured accessories in a neutral space can refresh a room and up the pretty factor for February.  Creating a sweet romantic look in a space feels right this time of year, as there is so much more indoor time with the harsh winter conditions outside.  Working on plans and daydreams in the early afternoon surrounded by sweet romantic details has inspired this post.

In the room, two rose-coloured linen decorative pillows are added on the bed.  A few favourite Valentine’s cards are pinned on the pinboard as a fun reminder of the season.  Additionally, a pale pink scarf with a metallic gold printed ‘xo’ pattern hangs over the doorknob; part of yesterday’s attire that happens to work perfectly with the theme.

It is easy to change the bedside table look with different accessories.  A very different bedside table arrangement can be seen in the post Cheerful January Bedside Table.  Adding candles in shades of pink, peach and white on the bedside table enhance the lovely vibe.  Postcards sent with love from Paris, the world’s most romantic city, rest on the bedside table too and are kept as a sweet reminder.  Isn’t there is something about a handwritten note that travels through the post that is oh so special?!  One thing that stays constant beside the bed is the delicate handmade jewelry dish found at a quaint little Parisian ceramic shop on Rue Saint Honoré.
